What is the difference between the same model Rolex replica watches and Tudor watches?

Answer 1:

Tudor watches are replica watches used as “Rolex Poor Man”. This was because it was made with many of the same parts for its Rolex counterparts. The Tudors were placed in Oyster cases, accompanied by Rolex crowns, and secured by Rolex teams. All these parts were signed with a Rolex crown. It was their faces and movements that set them apart from the actual Rolex.

Note that many Rolex watches use the same ETA as their Tudor counterparts. So the only difference between the hours was the name.

Today Tudors don’t share anything with Rolex watches mechanically. Tudors is a separate brand with its own identity. Apart from that, they make a high quality watch that many consider a good value.

Certainly there is a lot (one of the most noteworthy is the type of steel used, thank you guys for clarifying that in the comments), but the main difference between Rolex and Tudor is the movements.

While Rolex uses its own moves, Theodore got used to installing e-commerce agreements within his watches – the rest of the materials, finishes, etc. are almost on par with her “older” brother – and she speaks with very excellent objectivity if she encounters other players with the same price range.

But (there is always but, isn’t it?)

One of the major problems is the fact that ETA – which is part of the Swatch group of companies – is closing sales of its moves outside the group (I’ve talked more in depth about it here: Franz Rivoira’s answer to Are the Oris watch movements comparable to the Tag Heuer and Breitling?) So In the end, Tudor will have to find an alternative source of movements.

Celetta is already fully booked, and now, more and more companies are joining the battle to enter this very interesting and profitable business field. Also, other large groups are preparing their movement suppliers as well.

However, what happens is that the Rolex / Tudor group is already working towards this goal – and it has teamed up with Breitling, to produce joint movements between the two companies.

One of its first results is the impressive automatic caliber MT5602 – an internal movement (MT = Manufacture Tudor) certified by the Chronometer (COSC). It was introduced in 2015 and is a fairly advanced titer – equipped with a bidirectional rotary system, continuous inertial balance and partial adaptation by screw. It also features a non-magnetic silicone balance spring. As you can see, it definitely looks durable and strong.replica watches 2

It equips the Tudor Heritage Black Bay series – making it a true watch power, with a 70-hour power reserve and all of this jazz music, and amazing value for its price.

So, what I see happening is that Tudor rises in price, replaces them in the marketing of Rolex low-level watches, and Rolex raises its listing prices up to compete directly with JLC, IWC and all in the range of 10,000 USD. I might be wrong, but that makes sense in terms of marketing, especially since Rolex is the hell of a company driven by marketing.

My educated advice, here and for the time being, is to consider Theodore as a competitor in brands, not a “poor man Rolex” anymore, because it certainly will not be the case anymore.

After all, the Tudor watches are really cool. I myself put one directly in my hair clip.
