A Planet Ocean in Titanium, Ceramic, and LiquidMetalThe Seamaster Planet Ocean fake Omega has enjoyed some success for quite a while now. This year we saw the introduction of the biggest update to the line with the watch you see to the right.

The case of this new PO is titanium, the bezel is ceramic, and the hour markers LiquidMetal – this is the Planet Ocean of the future.

It weighs in at 45.5mm in diameter, and uses Omega’s co-axial caliber 8500 with silicon balance spring. The watch is also available in a chronograph using the just introduced caliber 9300/9301 pictured below. Now on top of the normal niceties associated with this Omega caliber, they have even added some aesthetic touches rarely found on Omega movements – rhodium-plated rotor & bridges, Geneva waves in arabesque, and even blackened screws, barrels, and balance wheel.

This particular reference is water resistant to 600meters, features a helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, and sits 16mm high. This new PO is just one more step towards Omega becoming a true luxury brand. Over replica watches uk the past few years, we’ve seen a gradual shift towards all in-house movements – certainly not a bad thing from a watchnerd’s perspective. Expect to see these new Planet Oceans in stores later this year.

Stay tuned for more coverage on new Omega products in the coming weeks.
